JOEL E. MORGAN, Ph.D., ABPP-CN

Dr. Morgan is a double board-certified neuropsychologist who has over 35 years of clinical experience examining children and adults with a variety of neurological, psychiatric, and behavioral disorders.  His experience was gained in VA Hospitals, and the neurology and psychiatry departments of Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School, where he was a faculty member. He earned Master's and Ph.D. degrees in clinical psychology from FDU and the Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research in NYC, respectively.  He is board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in Clinical Neuropsychology and Pediatric Neuropsychology.

 

Contributions to the Field of Neuropsychology

 

Dr. Morgan has made significant contributions to the field of neuropsychology with numerous peer reviewed publications, as the senior editor of several seminal texts, and has given many presentations at scientific conferences. He has served the profession on numerous boards and was an Oral Examiner for the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology for candidates applying for board certification.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Morgan is a nationally respected forensic neuropsychologist, working with numerous law firms throughout the country.

Dr. Morgan is a leading expert on concussion and is the consultant neuropsychologist for the New York Jets of the NFL and member of their concussion management team. 

Dr. Morgan is the most senior, double board certified, lifespan neuropsychologist in New Jersey. He is committed to ensuring that the practice of neuropsychology remains at the very highest level and has trained many students, mentored early career psychologists, and has presented numerous continuing education courses to established professionals.

DENISE KR0USLlS

Denise graduated from Montclair State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Cognitive Science. 

 

Currently, Denise is responsible for scheduling all clinical and forensic appointments where she explains the process of upcoming visits. In addition, she coordinates care between clients and Dr. Morgan. As a Neuropsychometrist, she administers psychological and neuropsychological tests for clinical and forensic evaluations.

Denise assisted Dr. Morgan and peers with review, proofreading, and editing of the Textbook of Clinical Neuropsychology, Second Edition by Morgan, J.E. & Ricker, J.H. (Eds.), published by Routledge Press in 2018, ensuring accuracy and enhancing its scholarly impact.
